Hunter Graham is a designer who builds obstacles. He has a bfa from the department of graphic design at virginia commonwealth university. He has found that the greatest way to solve any problem is to identify its attributes in and out of context. Using a collected bank of evolving ethics and methods, Hunter explores the materials presented in the spaces generously provided around him. He has found the simplest way to acknowledge issues and interests surrounding any given topic is to open an honest discussion with people, as well as one's self, through research and experimentation. Collecting all the pieces; placing and manipulating them to maintain order; design is recognizing all the parts to a system, all the stages of useāthe production, waste, and renewal. Cycles are circles; and everything exists in circles. Hunter understands that is important for the designer to view any given or posed limitation as an obstacle. An obstacle is a puzzle. It is a game the designer plays.
